Fèves au lard

3 1/2 tasses (875 ml) fèves
1/2 lb (225 g) lard salé
1/4 tasse (65 ml) mélasse
1/4 tasse (65 ml) cassonade
1 c.à thé (5 ml) moutarde sèche
1 c.à thé (5 ml) sel
1/4 c.à thé (1 ml) poivre noir
7 tasses (1.8 L) eau
1 oignon, entier


[*:x3w8rzq0]Mettre les fèves dans la mijoteuse avec le lard salé.

[*:x3w8rzq0]Mettre dans un bol une tasse (250 ml) d'eau chaude et y mélanger la mélasse, la cassonade, la moutarde, le sel et le poivre.

[*:x3w8rzq0]Verser sur les fèves et ajouter les 6 autres tasses d'eau et l'oignon entier.

[*:x3w8rzq0]Cuire 8 à 10 heures à LOW
